Madrid, 26 novembrer 2019.– Correos, to mark the upcoming Climate Summit, launches ‘Protest Stamps’, a collection of stamps illustrated with the messages of awareness and protest of a generation that is concerned about, fights against and is committed to stopping global warming and climate change.

The series will feature ten different illustrations and designs, all of them representing the voices of thousands of young people as the protagonist. That way, messages of protest usually enshrined on banners will be transferred to stamps to travel freely around the world.

The ‘Protest Stamps’ collection will be issued through ‘Tu Sello’, a Correos service that enables the printing of personalised self-adhesive stamps with full validity for postage. This series will be available to everyone from Correos’ website and branch in its central office, which is located opposite the IFEMA conference centre where the Climate Summit will be held.

In addition, anyone who wishes to create their own design and illustrate it with their own awareness messages can do so by entering a competition that Correos will be running through its Instagram profile from 10:00 am on 27 November until the following day at 7:00 pm. The winning design from among all of the entries shared under the hashtag #ProtestStamps will be selected and used on a stamp that will be issued in early 2020.

‘Protest Stamps’ messages will also be available in the form of a postage paid postcard that can be purchased from Correos’ website (https://tienda.correos.es) and in its central office. All profits from purchases of the postcard will go to Correos’ sustainable forests project, Línea Bosques.
